Animal is an unrelenting, provocative and remorseless vision developed in response to violence towards women. In a remote town, two sisters hover on the edge of society. They begin a relentless quest to prepare for the predators circling outside. Created in collaboration by Susie Dee, Kate Sherman and Nicci Wilks with a highly acclaimed creative team including Kelly Ryall, Angus Cerini, Marg Horwell and Andy Turner. This work is visceral, imagistic and creates meaning through inexorable repetition and brutal exposure on the female body to examine the cycle of violence.
